Suggested Activities:
Monday: Food Drive Collection to continue this week. Brainstorming ideas for your build challenge next week. What kind of structures could you build with the materials you have brought in already? What other kinds of packages will you need for your structure?
Tuesday: Continue planning and brainstorming for your build next week
Wednesday: Planning and start "practicing" how you want to build your structure. If you play dodgeball on Monday or Tuesday, you may want to start building your structure and make final changes early next week.
Thursday: Final day to bring in materials for the food drive and building challenge. Remember that NO OTHER MATERIALS are allowed to be used in the build. Must be "free standing", represents Halloween in some way, and using the materials brought in from your class over the last two weeks.
Reminder: 50 points will be awarded to the best (most votes), 40 for second place, and 30 points for third place, 20 for fourth and 10 for fifth. Voting will occur November 4th and 5th (more details will come next week)

- New List of items to bring: Something with Mickey Mouse on it, A squishy, Something handmade, A small football (Regular sized footballs not accepted), A Blue paper airplane, A green pencil crayon, A red pencil, A white pair of dice, Something with a ghost on it, Something with a zombie on it, Something "Halloween", A golf ball – extra points if it is your house color

- Food Collection: October 15 - 24th. Each food item = 1 point for your house. The Mentorship class that collects the most food items will receive 50 points for their house! Side Note: Teachers - you will be asked to count/record the number of items and report those numbers back to myself.
- In addition to the food collection challenge we are going to be having a build challenge with your food items. Therefore, on October 28, 29, 30 your mentorship class will build a structure with your food collection items (in their boxes/cans, not the actual food). NO OTHER MATERIALS ALLOWED. Your class's job is to create a structure that best represents Halloween.
- Action Item: Each teacher will be expected to take a photo of their complete (or not) structure NO LATER THAN Wednesday, October 30th and post it to the school's I: Drive (Teacher Resources --> Mentorship --> We Scare Hunger Building Challenge). If you need more details, please check your email or connect with me for more details. No picture means no possibility for your class to be picked as a winner!
